Team Challenge

Who do you want on your team? Gather your co-workers, neighbors or friends and form a team as a way to add more fun to Women Run the Cities! As an added incentive, all registered team members receive $2.00 off the base entry fee.

  • Don't be worried about the responsibilities of being a CREW Captain. All you have to do is contact five or more members and sign your team up. We take care of the rest. There are no extra fees or long list of CREW captain’s duties.
  • CREW members can enter the 5K (run or walk) or 10 mile, so there is an event for everybody.
  • Decide on a CREW name. It can be your company name or whatever name inspires you! Try for something unique and have a second choice just in case your first choice is taken.
  • Follow the instructions below to register the CREW team name and CREW team members.
  • We will have fun prizes and give-aways, especially for CREW teams. There will also be a special Team Challenge meeting area.

Register a Corporate Team
Team Captain - Team name set up

  1. Click the button at right to go to the Active.com listing for WRTC.
  2. On the WRTC screen, click Team Captain-Create Your Team.
  3. Register for Event. You MUST log in with an existing account or create a new account. This is free; you only need an email address.
  4. At the Team Captain Screen, create the team name. The screen also has a listing of existing team names for the event. After entering the team name, click SAVE.

Register as a Team Member

  1. Click the button at right to go to the Active.com listing for WRTC.
  2. On the WRTC screen, click Register Now.
  3. Register for Event. You MUST log in with an existing account or create a new account. This is free; you only need an email address.
  4. When selecting a Category, pick race option, but be sure to click the Team Option - either Team Women's 5K or Team Women’s 10 Mile. Also check waiver box that you are older than 13.
  5. On the next screen, click on the drop down window and pick your team name. Fill out the rest of the requested registration information required.
